Kids fly on the wings of church and home.
When church and home work together, every child can soar into their God-given purpose!
Family Discipleship
We believe that God calls the family to play a vital role in discipling the next generation, and that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children. Our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process which is wonderfully unique to each home. We do this through intentionally fun and engaging lessons for kids and through the various resources we provide parents. These resources help parents to build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for their kids. While every home is unique, we believe that vibrant family discipleship can take shape through family worship and a framework of time, moments and milestones. When church and home work together, we believe every child can soar into their God-given purpose!
Family Worship
We encourage families to worship together during our weekend services. This is especially true for middle school and high school students, as we hope to integrate them into the life of the church where they can live out God's mission with their parents and other adults. As a way to introduce this idea, we do Family Worship Weekends - a special service for all ages - four times a year in our English service.
Time, Moments, and Milestones
As a way to come alongside parents and help them live out their call to lead their children spiritually, we’ve created a framework for family discipleship: time, moments and milestones. This language provides a clear philosophy and strategy for discipleship in the home, encouraging and empowering parents to raise up a new generation of believers who know Christ personally, and live for Christ thoughtfully and passionately.
"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Deuteronomy 6:6-7
TIME
Parents build intentional time into the rhythm of family life for the purpose of thinking about, talking about and living out the gospel.
